AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
Amboseli National Park lying close to the Kenya/Tanzania border is among the most accessible of Kenya’s parks.
It is located at the floor of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. The Amboseli ecosystem is home to vast Elephants herds including other wildlife species which can be seen as we view the magnificent snow-caped Mount Kilimanjaro peaks-weather permitting.
SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE
Samburu is the most popular park in Northern Kenya because it boasts so much diverse and unusual wildlife.
The game reserve is also known for its colorful array of unusual game such as generuk, oryx, grevys zebras, Dik Dik and reticulated giraffe. There are also plenty of big cats here such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards.
Speaking of other Big 5 animals like elephants and buffalos. It is a special treat to watch the herds in the morning and afternoon lumbering towards the refreshing waters of Ewaso Nyiro river.
MERU NATIONAL PARK
Meru National Park is a forest reserve located 350KM from Nairobi east of Meru town. It is one of the Kenya’s lesser-known parks, covering an area of 87,044 hectares. There are lots of space here because Meru is an underrated park with few visitors means it is uncrowded, unspoilt and you are likely to have much of it to yourself.
That is you, the elephants, the lions, zebras, crocodiles, hippos, black and white rhinos, buffalos and over 400 species of birds were recorded.
OLPEJETA CONSERVANCY
Olpejeta conservancy has so many wonderful features you won’t want to leave. Just a few hours from Nairobi, you can find all the Big 5; lions, buffalos, elephants, rhinos and leopard. But what makes Olpejeta more exciting is this reserve features the highest density of predators in Kenya. You will have a very good chance of seeing lions, hyenas, cheetahs, and the rare African wild dog. Also as a guarantee, you will see rhinos and chimpanzees in the famous animal sanctuaries hosted in this 365 sq KM. Formerly, a sprawling cattle ranch, Olpejeta conservancy now serves as a protected space for many species including rare black and white rhinos and rescued chimpanzees. You will also find a long list of not so common African wildlife like the Aardvark in this amazing park.
DIANI BEACH
Diani beach is considered as the most popular beach in Kenyan coastline. It is a vibrant, intimate little paradise on the quiet shores of the Indian ocean just south of Mombasa – incorporating Tiwi beach, Chale Island, Msabweni and Galu beach.
