Overview
This 3 Day Gorilla trekking safari is suitable for people with limited time and would like to see the world’s great apes in their natural habitats. This trip takes you to the southern part of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for gorilla trekking.
Highlights of this tour
-Day 01: Transfer to Bwindi national park
-Day 02: Gorilla trekking
-Day 03: Return to Kampala/ Entebbe
DAY 1: Transfer from Kampala to Bwindi
You will be picked by driver/guide from the hotel around Kampala to start your 3 day gorilla trekking safari to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. With stopover at the Equator crossing for photography and a lunch break in Mbarara town.
You will then proceed to the southern part of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park because this is where gorilla trekking is currently taking place. This journey is very scenic as you have an opportunity to see the Kigezi rolling hills and valleys as you travel to Kisoro or southern part if Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will arrive late afternoon for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 2: Gorilla in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You will wake up early in the morning and head to the park headquarters to join other clients for briefing about dos and don’ts while with mountain gorillas on your trekking. After briefing, you will start your trek into the forest guided by guides. During your trek, you may encounter several birds, other animals and primates in the forest and once you have found the gorillas you will spend one hour with them and return back to the Lodge for overnight.

DAY 6: Depart to Kampala/Entebbe
After breakfast and depending on your departure flight details, you will drive 8-9 hours to Kampala/Entebbe marking the end of this 3 day gorilla trekking safari in Uganda.
Accommodation: No accommodation but can be arranged for extra cost

What to come with for gorilla trekking
-Hiking boots
-Long socks since you will tuck in your trouser during trekking
-Garden hand gloves
-Rain jacket and a pair of long stockings to tuck in your pants during trekking
-Long-sleeved shirt/blouse and a trouser
-Hat/cap and sunglasses
-Insect repellent
Note:
-One has to be 15 years and above to trek gorillas
-This tour can depart any day throughout the year
-Transportation in 4×4 land cruiser on midrange and luxury and van on budget
